Indian restaurant Shahjahan in the heart of the Jordaan (Amsterdam), just a five-minute walk from the Anne Frank House, is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced independent chef.
What are you going to do?
• Preparing authentic North Indian dishes such as curries and tandoori specialities.
• Preparatory work such as washing, cutting, (pre)cooking, mixing and stirring.
• Cooking, portioning and garnishing orders À la minute so that everything is fresh and ready on time.
• Ensure compliance with safety, occupational health and safety regulations, and HACCP regulations, and ensure a clean and organised kitchen.
What do we offer?
• A full-time job (38 hours per week) in a cosy and authentic restaurant.
• Salary between €2700 and €3000 gross per month (negotiable).

• Cook à la minute, portion, and garnish orders to ensure everything is fresh and ready on time.
• Supervise compliance with safety, occupational health, HACCP regulations, and maintain a clean and organised kitchen.
